Mana's Philosophy

At the heart of the ‘Mana Institute’ rests the absolute unknowable knowledge that all is Being and Being is simple always ‘This” - the direct experiencing of our True Nature. It is from This, by This and as This that creation unfolds as a manifest reality that we like to call the ManaFest Reality. ManaFest Reality is the ultimate pointing away from the Virtual Reality of the personal conceptual world where life is experienced as a scale of suffering-pleasure; love-hate; up-down; here-there and life-death. The world we believe we see is simply a neurological event, a simulation of reality, no more real than any virtual setting.

 

Mana cognises that simple ever-present reality of 'Here and Now’; ‘Here’ being defined as pure presence (pre-sensing, and before concepts) and ‘Now’ being defined as immediate (intimately timeless) effortless knowing. ManaFest - The ability to grasp our true nature is nothing special. It is ordinary and it is ever-present. It is the ever-present that is tirelessly seeking itself as effortless being. When eyes open to the first rays of dawn effortless awareness is already aware. When the first thought arises, effortless presence is already there to observe the thought. It is effortless awareness that ManaFests as shifts, as contractions, as shadow strategies and as realisations of growth and evolution.

 

There are times when we must concede that this virtual reality appears to have us in its grasp. Where addiction and distraction seem to have a will of their own and self-sabotage appear as the norm. Perhaps it is grief and lack that corral your life force into despairing victimhood? So we do not bypass the perceived reality of our participants with grandiose spiritual concepts. Rather we naturally provoke our inherent universal intelligence to re-cognise, to re-member to re-constitute as our true nature; one of infinite-eternal-loving-inteligent-Being; the inescapable light behind consciousness…
